Another first time thing for me.

I just received a 40-second pre-recorded message from Chris Lamb and Kevin Saal thanking me for renewing my volleyball season. Here is the text of the message:

[Lambo] This is Chris Lamb, head volleyball coach at Wichita State, [ADKS] and this is Kevin Saal, athletic director at Wichita State, we're calling to say thank you for renewing your volleyball season tickets for this season. [Lambo] We host 10 home matches in the American and we need every single person we can at Charles Koch Arena to make the environment as tough as possible for the opposing teams. We return 3 All-Conference players and more than 90% of our kills, digs and blocks from last season, and we added Shocker Legend, Katie Zimmerman and former Baylor head coach Brian Hosfeld to our staff. [ADKS] On the court we have everything we need to get back to the big dance, but we won't make it without your help. [Lambo] We can't wait to see you this season and thanks for your continued support.

The call came in from ONE CALL NOW (877-698-3261). I did not pick up as I did not recognize that number but the message was left in my voice mail.

Not necessarily a big deal but just shows ADKS is leaving no stone unturned and it's nice to get a thank you for supporting the program. Even for a small-fry like myself and even with a pre-recorded message..
