Wait, we're considering the guy who sits at the front of the student section as a potential AD?

Didn't Bardo have Wichita connections? So it's not always bad to bring someone back after getting experience elsewhere.Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

They started traveling all over to play games. Playing Army in NYC really got them on the map. Then they started to travel to places like Texas, Nebraska, then eventually the best cross conference rivalry in USC.
They became a national team and brand. All because Michigan was but hurt they got beat by them once in 1909!The Assman

After serving at Southwest Texas State for three years, Bardo served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at two different institutions – the University of North Florida from 1986 to 1990 and Bridgewater State College from 1990 to 1993.
On July 1, 1995, Bardo began his 16-year tenure as the 10th Chancellor of Western Carolina University. During his tenure, enrollment grew almost twice the number from 1996, the campus grew with new buildings, and an honors college was established. Bardo resigned in 2011 to return to teaching. WCU named a building in his honor, the "John W Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center".
In April 2012, the Kansas Board of Regents selected Bardo as the 13th President of Wichita State University. Wichita State would name a building in his honor in 2017.
Not surprising that Dr. Bardo completed the circle.

Pracht is my pick. It’s the Schaus connection, coupled with his Kansas ties.People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

If memory serves, I had some dealing with Pracht when he was the marketing guy in the AD under Schaus. He was easy to work with, gave me permission to use some of WSU's logos/trademarks on ShockerNet and even intervened when I received a cease and desist from the legal firm that represented the licensing company.

Eldridge may have gotten some "leaks" in order to check fan and donor support for certain candidates. Might be a little like a police lineup. Put one or two under consideration into a group with similar backgrounds and see how the community and donors respond.

Here's a summary of the story.
Amber said it was a joke, and Johnny said it wasn't funny. Sounds like a deal breaker to me.
A longtime employee of Johnny Depp's says Amber Heard once told him that defecating in the former couple's once-shared bed was "a horrible practical joke gone wrong."
Starling Jenkins III — an executive chauffer and security guard for Depp who first met the actor in 1993, and has since provided services ranging from childcare, animal care and personal-assistant duties to security and transportation — testified in court Thursday as Depp, 58, and Heard, 36, continue to face off in the defamation trial that kicked off April 11.
Speaking from a live video call to the court in Fairfax, Virginia, Jenkins recalled accompanying the Aquaman actress to Coachella in 2016. While driving Heard to the festival one night, Jenkins says they "had a conversation pertaining to the surprise she left in the boss's bed" following a fight she and Depp allegedly had before she departed for the trip with friends.
Clarifying that the "surprise" was "the defecation," Jenkins testified that Heard told him it was "a horrible practical joke gone wrong."
