I’m great. Never better. Look at the level of discussion since my posts. Well above the negative Nancy lovin lack of depth and insight SF loves. (My hero)
Great work SN. Did a brief recap on the Fire Isaac Brown of what I think the real consensus is. A win is a win, and once we get to the conference tournament, it doesn’t matter how it looks. Either you have it and kee winning or don’t and lose. I hope the boys leave it all on the court.

I loved his recent 9/9 free throw performance and he should be commended for it, but he frequently drives WstateU to the liquor cabinet… probably more than any player in the last 50 years. I shake my head so much my pea brain rattles.

But really, what next, if WSU was in the Valley Porter would look like the next Magic? Why, they'd be running all over inferior teams like Loyola & the Bulldogs!
Speaking of which, Loyola and Drake should be a good game today, eh? Oh, wait...

Mo, lack of effort? But citing Porter's lazy a** in the same post? Porter literally quit on several plays yesterday.

But happy to have good discourse.
MO—-I’ll give you an example. Remember the K-State game? He was having what turned out to be about his first 10 minuets of the season during the first half. They fed him. He posted well. He was aggressively attacking the basket. Alas, the game plan changed and all that stopped…as did the Shocker offense. There was no inside presence after that and they were able to key in on TE even more…who had, like on many nights this year, an off shooting night. Not establishing that inside presence in a lot of games was a big issue.
In addition, Mo need to go, for those easier bunnies (and this goes for all the team) with a far more aggressive and strong presence. How many points did we leave on the floor yesterday simply by just not going up strong. It’s killed us all year.
MUCH work needs to be done in the weight room with our players. One only needs to look at the bodies of the players on the best teams. Our guys looks so physically immature against these schools. Upper body strength is needed by our big men. We get pushed around a lot.
I’ve never really thought MO bought into our system. Remember, he left the program once but then didn’t find a new home (or a place that wanted him all that much). He came back. He seemingly wanted to shoot from way outside…which certainly wasn’t a smart idea based on the results. Working to more of a presence inside is his only hope.
As far as Qua (who I haven’t had any comments about this year)….I think the step up to the “big leagues” has been tougher on him than on most players. His confidence has been lacking. He needs to build upon his successes…yes, I think he’s finally finding his role…and I hope we can build upon that. He may be one of the few who will be returning.
