Cincinnati is done finishing at 7-11 (.389)

ECU finishes at 6-11 (.353)

Tulsa and USF are both 3-14. Tulsa hosts UCF and USF is at Temple tomorrow.

So if I have this scoped out correctly the Shocks will play either Tulsa or USF in round 1 and then either Memphis or SMU in round 2 depending on how tomorrow's games turn out.

Houston is at Memphis. SMU host Tulane. A Memphis loss or an SMU win would give SMU the #2 seed and a matchup with the winner of the Shockers' first round game. Let's hope it will be SMU.

We match up well with Tulsa or USF. We would have a pretty good shot at beating SMU. I don't have much hope if we play Memphis. Basketball is a funny game though. It looks like IB is going more and more with CP and RC to run the offense through. Good move.

Not criticizing kids…criticizing low basketball IQ and very poor execution throughout theseason. These “kids” (actually young men…many young men are doing far tougher things in life) are getting a free college education and many perks in life. Being a real fan requires praising good things and understanding when things are grossly wrong with a program. I like the true fans here on Shockernet and appreciate their understanding of the game and their support for a program through thick and thin. And that’s what you’re reading here.

Nope. They are getting a free education just like anyone on a full scholarship. They are also getting to PLAY a GAME. Nobody is forcing them to PLAY the game…it isn’t work. They could find another JOB. Work is what so many students are doing to get through college. Some hold down multiple jobs and are paying full tuition. They are also called to standards every day. The players had a choice to accept that scholarship or not. And using your “logic”, at a state institution, at least part of their “salary” (scholarship) is paid for by you and me…either through state funding or ticket sales. The fan has a say as well. And, the “effort” has been in question MUCH of this year.
