UNI shot a higher percentage across the board and lost due to turnovers, VCU outrebounding them on the offensive glass, and at the FT line.

I remember the play well. I wanted them to double Rodriquez because they really had no one else on the team that could get the ball up the court that fast under control.

Yea, it just made sense to me for us to throw some kind of pressure to make Rodriguez catch the inbounds going away from his basket and at least provide some resistance like we had most of the game. But I better be careful what I say so moshock doesn't get upset that I want Marshall to leave, which I don't. It just wasn't a shinning moment in coaching strategy, that's all.

It all depends. If they press us all game and we figure out a way to blow that up, than we will be off and running. We can also play defense too, and if a team is used to scoring in the 60's, we are more than capable of just shutting their offense down.

I hope that we go out as the aggressor and make them try to keep up. I have faith that Marshall will figure it out. We have a few days to go over the tape. And hell, let's get real, if Rags, Smith and Kyles are hitting their jumpers. It isn't gonna matter, anyway.

VCU is good, plays hard, and defends well. If we shoot decent we will win. VCU has a hard time scoring and we are a very good defensive team.
