Why do the Shocks still have a net ranking of 83? UCF's net ranking is currently 75. I guess it's the win over Oklahoma State. Maybe the close call with Arizona?

The computer metrics part helps a bit. They don't break out their components but we are 87 in KP .. largely because our Defensive rating is 43rd best. Offense is 153. So our defensive rating is keeping up semi afloat in the metrics.

Tyson...like our coach.....is good about trying to say the right things. Too bad neither of them follow it up on the court.

Oh and in that article, according to Ricky they really don't have to change anything. This sounds a lot like their coach.....

“We just need that first win is all,” Council said. “I don’t feel like there’s nothing too crazy we need to change. We just got to play together and when stuff starts to fall together, then we’re going to start winning games.

I like TE. He seemed mature and speaks very well. But this year has soured me. He’s not even half the player he was his freshman year. Im sure it’s people and coaches telling him he’s an NBA player, and I get that, but he became an NBA prospect not by what he’s doing this year, but what he did the previous 2 years. Until he realizes that, he’s gonna continue to slide off the radar and our season will be in shambles.

I hope the guys are pissed at us fans and they use it as motivation to actually shove it in our faces. That would mean there is passion. Until I see it, it is all lip service.

I do not see one ounce of angry with this team. Maybe in spurts of about a minute or two, but that’s about it. That’s also a reflection of the coaching staff. No passion on the sidelines generally equates to no passion on the court.

Kinda confused why we cancelled games. IB said we continued practicing, occasionally had a guy out but he would be back the next day, etc. It doesn't sound like we had a huge outbreak that involved most the team. Did we have coaches out during that time?

Have to have at least 7 players. From what they were saying we did not. Who knows though

Simply doing what is asked of him by the coach. That's why he will play another year, but for a different team. He knows his stock went down under IB and now have one more year to prove himself. He'll probably thrive in a different system. Just not here.

I believe coach Kennedy had the alien (Cold’s description) virus… I believe a player or two had it also causing quarantine protocol. I remember the coaches show (seems like eons ago) before the Temple trip, when IB said everyone in the program was tested the day before departure. Obviously, some of them ‘failed’ the test.

Because he has the talent to have a chance at the NBA, but this season, with this coaching staff and how he's being used has crushed that. Unless he stays and goes back to being the Tyson of before this season, he'll be better off going somewhere that will give him a better opportunity to succeed.

Personally, I could see it going either way. I don't want the Tyson of this year to come back. I think we are better without that Tyson. If the Tyson of previous years returns, I'd love to have him back. Can that happen? Can this staff make that happen? I have no clue.
