    Robert George was good---very good. Maybe he could have been much better and helped the Shocks much more as a Team, if given more freedom to use his skills more in our System. This was another former Shocker player's opinion, and I agree with it. What do you think?
    Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

      It is still a great question, and we still don't have answer.
      Henry Carr is an interesting possibility. His 1st 3 years were under Gene Smithson.

      Freshman = 2.3 Points
      Sophomore = 8.0 Points
      Junior = 3.4 Points

      Then his senior season was under Fogler

      Senior = 11.8 Points and made 2nd Team All MVC.

      Either his role was different or he fit Fogler's system better. The difference wasn't all the strange free throw shooting style Mike Cohen taught him during his senior season.

        Why would Matt not be on this list? I remember watching him his first year and saying that he would never be a starter.

            I might be going out on a limb by saying this but I think you might have been the only one.

              Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
              "We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

              A physician called into a radio show and said:
              "That's the definition of a stool sample."

                Paul Miller in my lifetime. Best "Robin" would be Kyle Wilson.
