Georgetown wins 64-52. There seed will probably stay ahead of WSU come Sunday. If Seton Hall can upset Louisville tonight, WSU will have a chance to move up a line or at least stay where they are now.

Louisville up 50-39 with about 8 minutes left to play. Seton Hall may be playing themselves out of the tournament.

Ugly game by Pitt. It was a 2 point game in the second half, only for them to score three points over a six minute run until they got a few throw away points with under a minute left.

Seton Hall only down by 7. Hoping for a miracle.

A lot of games could effect seeding today. All per ESPN, WSU a 4 and Creighton a 7. () projected seed per ESPN

            (10) UCONN 55 vs Syracuse 58 (1) Should help WSU as UCONN can't make a run and maybe get close to WSU in seeding.
            Texas A&M vs KU (1)
            OSU vs Mizzou (2)
            (5) Louisville vs Marquette (3)
            (8) 74 KSU vs. 82 Baylor (4) (8) KSU shouldn't pass WSU in the seeding. Going to be hard for WSU to pass Baylor if that needed to be the case.
            (3) Georgetown vs. Cincinatti (9)
            Penn St. vs Indiana (4)
            Wyoming vs UNLV (5)
            Boise St. vs. SDSU (7)
            (12)S. Florida vs UND (6)
            Nebraska vs Purdue (9)
            Stanford vs Cal (10)
Air Force vs New Mexico (7)
            (12) Texas vs. Iowa St. (8)
Southern Miss (9) 81, East Carolina 78 I don't think they could catch or pass WSU
Indiana(4) 75, Penn State 58 Indiana may be a team we can't catch in seeding.

So, who do we need/want to win today?

I would say Syracuse, Marquette, KSU, Cincinatti, Penn St., Wyoming, Boise St, S. Florida, Nebraska, Stanford, Air Force, and Texas. Those schools they are playing are close enough to us that it could effect our seed.

Speaking of Baylor, has anyone seen an uglier, brighter, looks like they ought to be working on the highway, uniform than those electric lime green outfits? Of course they're beating K-State at the half, so maybe the 'cats are blinded by the light.

Digger Phelps snuck into their locker room a few hours before the game with his highlighter.

No kidding. I wonder if k-state could be playing themselves out of the dance?

How does KSU belong in, in the FIRST place? Swept by OU trumps sweeping Baylor anyday....I saw them lose to WV and they looked MARGINALLY like a NCAA team....

Your kidding right? KSU is 3-3 against the RPI top 25, and like 6-7 against the RPI top 50. They have a couple of top 10 wins. Handily beat an Alabama team that beat WSU, has a top 40 RPI and is top 25 Sagarin. Losing to OU was ridiculous, but that happens in conference. KSU is easily a tourney team, especially in a year like this, when the bubble is pretty weak.

I mean, the bubble's weak this year. This year's team is probably not as good as the KSU squad that was denied a bid under Huggins, but they'll still get in because of the lack of quality teams this season.

Lunardi promoted us to #16 on the S-Curve today (weakest 4 seed).

Ragland would instantly make the kittens exponentially better. You'd have to look awfully hard to find a more bleak PG situation in the bcsers of the world.

No doubt about this, I agree 100%. Of course Ragland would make a whole lot of teams better, that kid can play. He is another in a long line of examples of why I don't pay alot of attention to recruiting services. Yes, top 50 guys are nice, but a guy like Ragland just needed to be channeled, and when he figured it out, he has exploded. I love his game.
