And yes, congrats to Tad's Buffaloes. They deserve it. Makes our win look even better and that team just plays great defense. They will give a 4 or 5 seed some fits in the NCAA's. Thankfully it won't be us since we already played em this year.
And that leads to the PAC-12. That is a one-bid league and it isn't even close. The league's top 2 teams can't even make it to the title game. Washington can't even win a game in the tourney, losing to a bad Oregon State team in the first round... in a non-competitive game. Washington and California's resumes are putrid. Give Drexel and Iona bids over them ANY DAY.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Mizzou looked impressive in their win over Baylor for the Big 12 championship and they will be a tough out in the NCAA tournament. Louisville won a defensive battle against Cincinnati to claim the Big East tournament title. The Beach is up 11 over UCSB with 9 min left to play in the Big West championship.Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

This has probably already been brought up on this thread, but the regular season champs of a Big 6 conference has never been left out of the tournament. With Colorado winning the Pac-12 tourney, and Cal with a likely at large spot, it will be interesting to see what happens to Washington. NIT 1 seed? Hmmm. Congrats to Coach Boyle, at any rate, he's doing great things at CU in a short amount of time."It's amazing to watch Ron slide into that open area, Fred will find him and it's straight cash homie."--HCGM

FSU has a 16 point lead on UNC in the first half. After they beat UNC by 33 in the last game.
Edit: Barnes finally started playing and got it back to 9. I think he scored 10 in the final two minutes. UNC is actually playing well on offense ... 40 points compared to the 56 they had the entire first game. FSU is just shooting lights out. More in the first half than they've scored in entire games.Last edited by Rlh04d; March 11, 2012, 01:58 PM.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'

Not many teams can say they beat Duke and North Carolina within 24 hours. I'd give them a 4 seed.
That game was shocking specifically because the calls down the stretch went to us. Never seen the calls go against UNC like that. Of course, every call went to UNC in the first half, and they shot twice as many FTs. But we got away with some bad calls in the second half.Originally posted by BleacherReportFred VanVleet on Shockers' 3-Pt Shooting Confidence -- ' Honestly, I just tell these guys to let their nuts hang.'
