It was a mixed day at best for Shocker opponents. Actually a bit of a downer. While Colorado and UNLV did get nice wins, Utah State, Tulsa and CS Fullerton all lost to teams seeded below them. UAB also lost to UCF.

Colorado and UNLV can help by winning their next ones. The UAB loss hurts because they were on the cusp of being top 100.

Lunardi's new bracket out and he has WSU a 4 and has moved up Creighton to a 6. Here are the main games that could effect both teams seeding. These are all per ESPN bracketology, () current seed per ESPN. FFO- first four out.

Agree...wins for the RPI don't matter as much now as a team that is close to us seed wise, that keeps winning.

UMASS vs Temple (5)...Temple in a dog fight with UMASS. Temple down 4 with 3:51 to go. Temple loss would be good for WSU and Creighton as they are a projected 5 today.

FFO NC St. 67 vs Virgina 64 (9) Doesn't effect WSU or Creighton much, but some of the teams that were "in" may be out on the bubble. Keeps Virginia from making a run and possibly passing WSU or Creighton in seeding.

That should have happened a week ago. UMass didn't upset Temple here ... they're flat out better. No way Temple would have beat them last week if it wasn't for shooting 40 (!!!!) free throws while UMass only shot 10. The referees saved Temple in that game. This game, suddenly Temple only gets to shoot 15 times. Pretty big difference in officiating.

Syracuse is down by 11 with 13 to go in the second half. I've seen them down by as much as 14 early on in the half.

I also somehow missed that Miami's new coach was the coach of George Mason in 2006. Now I have all the more reason to cheer for FSU to destroy them tonight.

*They're making it interesting down the stretch. Cinn missing FTs and Syracuse draining 3s. 4 point game with 25 seconds to go.

Wow. Two point game with :17 to go. Not the time for 50% FT shooting, Cinci.

3 point game with Syracuse going to the line for two shots. :05 left.

Cincinnati wins! Got lucky as hell there at the end.
