3 point win over an imploding Florida team isn't very impressive.

    • Too many threads talking about seedings so don't really know where to put this. Just saw that "Insider College Basketball" has Creighton as a No. 5 seed and WSU as a No. 6.

      • Pat Knight about to win his conference tournament at Lamar.

Everyone who railed on him for that rant looking pretty dumb.

        • Happy for Pat Knight.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

          • Random thoughts based on recent posts.

Cal is in, and they deserve to be so.
Washington is as bubblicious as they come right now.
Drexel is also a very close call.
            Nevada is definitely out.
            Southern Miss is definitely in.
WSU looks extremely locked into a 5 seed now. I really don't see how any other seed makes sense.

              • FSU knocked off Duke >=)

I still think Duke is very over-rated. They're a streaky team that relies on the 3 and any team that plays good perimeter defense, or gets lucky and has the Duke shooters go cold, can upset them in the tournament. They're at a big risk for being upset early on.

Would love to see the Shockers play them, but I think WSU has a better shot at making the Elite 8 than Duke does.

@Jamar Howard 4 President:, why is it Miss St is "in"?

                  • Colorado and Arizona both look atrocious. The Buffs are completely out of gas (they've airballed 3 out of their last 5 threes), and Arizona can't hit the ocean from outside of five feet.

CU leading 50-45 with a minute and a half to go. Tad Boyle's crew hasn't scored for seven minutes. Arizona has seven points during that stretch.

                    • Well...Duke lost in the ACC semi's to FSU. I think that Duke stil holds on to a #2 seed..

Duke is still a good team. Duke beat out of conference: Kansas, Michigan State, Colorado State, Tennessee, Belmont, Washington, Michigan, Davidson. Those are some quality wins.

                      • And Colorado's first field goal in eight+ minutes is one of the best dunks i've seen all year. Whoa.

Wins over Vanderbilt (5 seed?), Alabama (9/10 seed?), and West Virginia (10 seed?) are a better trio than anything teams like Drexel, NC State, or Miami have on their resumes. 11 losses and an RPI in the low 70s isn't so favorable. Honestly, I'm having a hard time finishing my bracketology around the bubble. 6-8 teams fighting for 3-4 spots and it is hard to choose.

                          • Colorado escapes, 53-51.

Congrats to Coach Boyle. Should at least give us a minimal boost if we're teetering on a seeding line tomorrow.

                              I don't know JH4P...

Miami has wins over a probable #2 seed (Duke), a #4 seed (FSU) ...they don't have a trio, but those two aren't bad...

Add losing 6 of last 8, including 1st round loss to Georgia, a loss to Georgia before that, and loss to Auburn. In their conference split schedule, did not play any of the top four conference record teams but once and had a OOC SOS near 190. 4 point win over Alabama at home countered by 17 point loss on the road. Sorry, weak.
