You would have to have the original in print, unless you can recall exactly what was said in the original..the only one showing now is the edited version. He no longer states "conspiracy theory or bullying."

His opinion now says "vendetta," but doesn't really say Coach Marshall said these things; it appears to be aimed more at readers that would suggest such things. Shockernet posters most likely, it is widely accepted that he reads it.
Somehow i dont think coach and klutz will be sitting down for dinner together anytime soon. Klutz always strikes me as little jock sniffer who cant write. Heres to the StL Cards finishing last,,Cheers Boob.

He is nearly always there. As is Darron Boatright.

The original, if I remember correctly, stated that "some" believe in a conspiracy. I always read it that he was talking about shockernetters. I never took it that he meant HCGM, still don't see it that way. Maybe we could have a "beer summit."

Lutz was exactly the type of guy Bobby Knight was referring to years ago when he said "We all learned to write in the second grade. Some of us have moved on to better things."

If Fred can keep him on the bench, WSU's PG position will be just as good next year if not better, which is saying something.

            The future looks bright indeed.
I'm starting to come around to the idea that FVV may play and play a fair amount. Not sure he starts, but he contributes.

Fred has to play more than a modest amount in order to get him ready for '13-'14.

Are there any other point guards on the roster, who will be here in '13-'14?

I am referring to true point guards. Not 2 guards, who can play a little point.

I don't know if Tekele or Joe Mitchell's ultimate position has been decided. Both are currently what I would call "combo-guards." Both formerly played PG, prior to coming to WSU.

Easy there, Coach Jeff. I have no particular use for Lutz either, but the Cardinals are my team. Go Redbirds!

Edit: St. Louis "Redbirds," that is. I hope the only other baseball Redbirds we'll be seeing this year get rolled over by the Shocks.

Am I making this up or did I hear Coach say something like Cotton might benefit from a redshirt year to work on his skills?

I also think that's quite possible, Sub, but I'm not worried in any case -- look at KU's Thomas Robinson: he played 14 minutes/game last year, and now he's a top contender for national player of the year. Yes, I know Robinson isn't a PG, but it still illustrates the kind of jump that can be made from one year to the next by a talented guy who works hard -- and I don't think anyone doubts that Fred is talented and will work hard.

I heard say Cotton was not a redshirt candidate. He said that Redshirting Cotton was not necessary for him to mature physically, because he is already physically mature. Only reason to redshirt would be for him to improve his skills. I didn't take away that he was candidate.

I found Coach Marshall's comments regarding Malcolm Armstead to be interesting, to me at least. I have the feeling we'll be very competitive defensively next season, more so on the perimeter than the interior....VERY competitive.

Sounds like a team that could lead the league in steals and score a lot of transition points.

With EO anchoring the inside, it will be a vast improvement on defense. Stutz was good on the offensive end, but was a tad slow on the defensive end. EO will end that, but at the price of less offense unless he improves a bunch.
