The Shocks are winning but they are not really all that fun to watch although I thought Craig Porter played some pretty basketball which is hard to do when you are the only player on the team interesting in doing that. I also like Kenny Pohto. He needs to get stronger but his rebounding fundamentals are quite good.

Wow some of the stuff we are bad at... is just mind numbing.

So many of our turnovers are just so flukey and stupid. I can't tell if some of it is bad luck, or if we really struggle that much with IQ. Think it is both.

Free throw jeckle and hyde my goodness. Has to be mental from night to night. Not really any other explanation.

That being said - there are many things this team seems to do better than last year's:

I think this will be a better shooting team.

This will be a better defensive team.

This will be a a better rebounding team.

Those three things mean a whole lot. Still early, but I like the returns on those.

Also, thought assist numbers would be better than they are tonight.

Shocks 9-20 from the line. I had my 16 year old grandson at the gym yesterday. Had him finish off his workout by shooting 100 free throws. He was only able to make 84 of them.
