CBS has Jacksonville State ranked 223/358 amongst D-1 teams. Granted we did not play particularly well, but that just goes to show you how lazy and biased they are. Coming in at 94 in the same rankings is University of Washington.

They are 136 in KenPom. So upper half team.

Etienne from 30' without a hand in his face isn't a bad end of clock plan. Guy's got ice cubes in his veins. It's no surprise that every PoY award has him their top 40 or 50.

Had an "off" game by his standards. Still ened with 16 points, 4 boards, and 3 assists while being doubled or facing a box and 1 the whole game.

This game I think will do this team some good. JSU was PDG on defense and they have good athletes and experienced players. This game much more valuable than a 30+ point blowout against an overmatched opponent.

I agree too. I got think we will shoot better than we did tonight. But it was good to see the Shocks out grit a good team. Shocks won the rebounding battle and turnovers. Free throw line was good too. Got to keep grinding. Go shocks.

Yea, if he airballed it they might have had 1-1.5 seconds left. Most likely a miss from that range is still in the air from the bounce off the rim when time expires
