I thought I read where he had the ball taken away from him 4 times for his 4 TO's. If so, that's not good.

That's horrible.

If he's the teams best ball handler there's going to be, coining GGG, some 'atomic bombs', going the other way.

I noticed two things about the in game production last night.

1. There was only like one of the goofy time out games that people used to complain about constantly.
2. Ted took several opportunities, many more than in the past, to pump up the crowd coming of time outs.

Both of those things were positives in my opinion.

So far the two complaints I’ve seen are “they didn’t play the National anthem when I THOUGHT THEY SHOULD!” and that the team didn’t come out during the bring ‘em out song.

Newsflash, the team has never come out during the bring em out song.

As far as the anthem goes…that doesn’t seem like a big deal and/or is easily fixable.

Just for clarity, I asked about the anthem, didn't complain about it (if that was directed at me) and as for the "bring em out" it wasn't that the team didn't come out then, but the cheer team ran onto the floor with the Shocker flags, and then the team didn't follow. Maybe that's the new idea. If it is, it sucks. Just my opinion. I assume it was poor communication and I'm ok with that because as I also said, it's a new crew and it will take time (although that one thing seems an easy one to nail early but again, I really don't care).

Not sure if I am allowed to make a comment since I wasn't at the game, but I wonder if the anthem was played when it was for broadcast purposes? I know there was no TV but maybe something with radio?

I am trying to find out if my daughter knows. She was one of the cheerleaders with the flags.

FWIW they have a new Cheer coach this year also. Even the Cheer coaches boss (spirit coordinator maybe?) is new I believe.

So it very well could have been a miscommunication. If she knows I will find out.

Well it sounds like it went exactly how it was supposed to. So....I don't know....

Guess we will see if someone adjusts it. Hopefully they will do something.

No, generally there is no concession for radio. The National Anthem was played, I just don't remember when prior to tipoff.

Yes, they cut staff. I was in the ticket office back in May and talked with them quite a bit. Last year really hurt financially so they had to reduce staff.
