One of the main parts of an ADs job is to fundraise IMO. If a 5 million exit fee is a hold up from jumping to a conference that would double our TV payout (and more ncaa credits) and be drastically better for our money making sport ... that just shows the AD isn't good at the fundraising part of his job.

NOTE: Not saying that is the only reason .. but it's also not an excuse Boatright can pull. If that's the reason ... fire him.
