IB is going to have to show a lot next year. Odds are DB will get canned sometime in the next year after we have a new president. We all know new ADs are gonna look to put their fingerprint on the department and IB isn't going to have a wealth of history on his side.

Maybe IB works out. Maybe not. Still believe a search should have been conducted prior to any decision.

Tyson was obviously taken out of the game by Drake. Udeze did all he could to make up for it. But ultimately, you have to shoot well and hit your FTs to advance in the NCAA tournament. We did neither.

We did pretty well feeding the post, but outside of that, our offense consists of dribbling and passing around the perimeter until someone decides to try and make a play. That didn't start with IB, not by a long shot. But it is disappointing that we were unable to get Tyson some good looks.

Our bench, outside of Monzy's rebounding, gave us nearly nothing. Porter wasn't good and I'm not sure Council had a single positive moment with the ball in his hands.

Udeze had a career game. Dexter had a pretty good game, and so did Wade, IMO. Gilbert was just OK.

On to next season.

Really concerned about our offense going forward. Can IB come up with something new? I greatly have my doubts. If he is going to take praise for what has happened this year, he also has to take the bad stuff as well.

Should have never come down to a couple free throws. This team was undisciplined and unfocused the entire year and playing hard was one of the few reasons we won those close games earlier in the season. It bit us tonight for the 2nd game in a row.

Thank goodness we’ve never lost to the likes of Marshall or worse yet some school from the Atlantic Sun Conference in recent years, otherwise this would be unrecoverable!

I suspect this will leave an indelible memory etched into the psyche of the team and coaching staff, to be used as a learning experience and improvement for next season.

Weird game. Should have easily won - had them buried. Same thing we have done all year bit us. Very infuriating. Even more infuriating because an average effort from us at the FT line or three-point arc also easily wins the game also.

Didn't really think the shot selection was THAT poor, certainly was not good at all - but not just two made 3s bad.

Super weird season. Not at all sure how good this team was, but with how things started I fully expected to be about .500 or less. Beating Houston was the highlight, a lot of fun. Beat the crap out of Tulsa twice. Ole Miss game was good.

No reason to think they won't be top-4 AAC and in the mix for a bid next year.

Need to add a PG and PF along with a C in the offseason that can actually play.

Ignore him. He posted 3 times total in the first 3 months of the season while we were winning (all negative posts by the way) and has come out of the woodwork and has posted 6 times since Saturday.
