Hell no it wouldn’t. People were claiming Peter Principle on his ass the year we took 2nd in the league and got a 5 seed in the tourney.

The biggest difference between having Gregg Marshall as our coach right now vs Isaac Brown is track record. Marshall was a known quantity because he had been here forever and a head coach for even longer.

Through no fault of his own Isaac Brown was thrust into the role of head coach a month or two into the season. He and his assistants are adapting to new roles on the fly while trying win basketball games and make his team better. All in the middle of a stupid pandemic.

It’s fair to be unsure of what the future holds with Brown. How could we possibly know what to expect? This is all as new to us as it is to him.

They all needed each other, depended on each other, believed in what mattered the most, and created something unique and special that will never be duplicated.
