I and others wouldn't have to ***** if this athletic department wasn't operating at a high school level. If we don't ***** about it and just accept the status quo like you want to do, then that's where you... you guessed it.. fail the fanbase. Accepting that product is doing more harm than good.

And yah, this is kind of a message board. We tend to discuss stuff here. Sorry, we can't all agree on everything and live in hunkey-dorey land like you apparently do.

But, perhaps we should becareful what we wish for. The promos bring a lot of money into the program. Believe me, ive seen what they charge. And being a top notch program with top notch facilities and travel amenities cost a lot of money.

I don't remember ever seeing any top flight programs whoring themselves out as much as we do during a basketball game. Not to mention that you can get a bit more creative while taking in these promotions. Please don't use that defense. You can get the money without having it look like amateur hour at the same time. The previous administration did just so.

Just how many non-WSU games do you go to? Which programs are you talking about. I have been to a LOT of college basketball games in the past 3 years. EVERY program across the nation is looking at ways to increase sponsorship to increase revenue to fight sagging ticket sales in this economy.

Now, each place had their own sponsors of promotions, and some were a bit different. But they all suck the life out of the atmosphere when they fall at the wrong time in the game.
