What keeps JT from starting ?

Defense. Even though for a first year player I don't think it's really that bad. But Phil and Ramon are better in that department.

I don't disagree with you. But that's the reasoning that Marshall has used. And I can understand his stance as well.

Like I said, I don't think his D is all that bad considering. Maybe he just doesn't show the effort Coach wants to see on that end? I think he's working on it and has made improvements. He'll get there and I expect him to see more and more minutes as the season progresses.
