Illinois Stae In-Game Thread

Next year should be exciting. We'll be young but fun. The way it looks Hannah will definitely start. I still hold out hope that Ellis or Griz could start at the 3 next season. Hawk could play there as well as the 2. Murry is more of a 1 but can play 2. Kyles is more of a 2 that may be able to play some 1. We could have two 7 footers. Durley will be that much better. There seems to be hope just around the corner.

I am starting to get the feeling that the divide between Coach Marshall and Player Durley is getting wider, not more narrow. Just a gut feeling based upon playing time. I hope I am wrong, wrong.

I noticed that Perry Ellis, the 8th grader, was in the house tonight. He acknowledged grad assistant Dana Ford a couple of times from a distance and then finally took a seat on the floor center court on the team side.

like many of you have said im not really upset, i understand this really isnt coach marshall's team, he is playing with turgeons recruits, and i think we all will be very surprised how much better we will be next year.

RDR, I really thought Durley would start tonight. However, our Coach strikes me as one that has an emphasis of Defense, boxing out etc. over Offense in the area of playing time. When Durley gets those areas shored up, watch out!!!
