The Coogs didn't have the guards to beat the Hurricane from where I sat.

And Houston has the best perimeter guards in the league. They are a cut bove everyone. else.. SMU and Houston play tomorrow. So we can all watch the greatness tomorrow.

One thing I took away was I'm glad RCIV is on our team. We will be riding him like a horse. Dude makes everything look smooth and easy. Runs the floor like Cle.

Surely there are some types of knee braces that would help. Secondly, when he comes in play a
2-2-1 or 1-3-1 zone limiting the space he has to cover just within 4-6 feet of the basket. When we
fast break have him remain back like Ralph Miller had his big men do to protect breaks back the
other way. Should be able to get 10-15 quality minutes a game out of him this way.

But, again with HCIB saying he is only at 80% - that not going to get fixed in season. How much he plays will likely be due to his pain tolerance and how his body handles the rigors of the schedule.

I also believe HCIB on his coaches or pregame show a few weeks ago said he was only at 80%. If that is the case, I would not expect him to be able to be counted on. He probably needs the offseason to properly rehab his injury and get fully healed.

Not sure. I only know that he had surgery on his knee in the offseason. Not all surgeries are created equal but it doesn’t surprise me that they’re being cautious.

There may be some benefit from not embarrassing players in front of fans and on TV. Holding them accountable without putting that on public display might be better received by players than having TV cameras follow them to the bench with the announcers describing their mistake.
