Well I certainly hope you are right Aargh but Ryan is really, really good at drawing the charge against our bigs. And EO playing well again SIU (who played nothing but poo ball all night) is a decidedly different story than EO playing well against EU. This game could very well be a very different animal than the SIU game. Please color me wrong -- but then I always worry.

The last post was 15 hours ago on this thread.....hopefully the only topic that really matters to those playing the game. Shocks must defend and value the ball...the two things that will make any team competitive regardless of other factors. I hope the team is more focused on this game than we have been on this board. I'm nervous about this one for that reason....

If this game plays out anything like my day has went, we will lose by double digits.

UE is a bad team for us to match up against. We will win but it will be alot closer than most think.

This game concerns me. This is a dangerous team because they can shoot it and they defend and rebound hard.

Your "lack of respect" card that gets played on every message board you visit is growing really old.

Nebraska isn't gonna get any respect for their 1-point victory at home over Indiana. Just like we aren't going to be bowing down to your presence for 1 point, 5 point whatever LOSSES that you continue to try to create as moral victories. Maybe for EU fans, one possession losses are victories, but to any outsider and more importantly, any fan of a program who is upper-tier and demands winning, they are all the same.. BIG, FAT L's. Tennessee Tech, Illinois-Chicago, etc.

The WSU players and coaches aren't going to overlook any team because that is not what they do. They want to bury the pretenders and wanna be's. The fans can do whatever we want. And that's what we're doing.

I'm also not the biggest fan of a fanbase who has a member known internet wide as being a slimy d-bag, who welches out on bets he swore to in front of the masses. That is beyond pathetic.

Maybe the season ticket for this game is potentially foreshadowing of what is to come? Let's hope so.

You realize this is a shocker forum right?

You realize the aces are 10-9 right?

Quit the Rodney Dangerfield routine, it's lame.

Can the Aces win tonight? Of course they can, are the Shockers still the better team this year? Yes they are

They've been playing the "lack of respect" card for many, many seasons. You'd figure if the team was so great year after year, they'd eventually get some respect, right?

Really, I think it is evansville that doesn't match up well with Shox. Shox have an huge advantage inside. WSU guards are just as good Evansville. WSU has alot more depth - if you look at how EU coach used his timeouts, he was just trying to keep his team fresh because he knew they were just at that breaking point.

Now the WSU guards need to well ...uhh...guard. Of course Evansville could make this a close game and even win it if WSU lets them get open looks and get confidence, start getting sloppy and turning the ball over to Harris. Lets just remember, WSU was about to blow them out at their place, were up 10, then WSU started turning the ball over and was taking stupid shots and missing.

Suellentrope is reporting Stutz is expected to play and that he looks more limber in warm-ups than he has of late.

If it holds true, this is great news (to state the painfully obvious). We might need him tonight and we'll definitely need him soon.

Also, WuShock made a half court shot after about 5 attempts.
