  • I will say this about AM, we could use his size against team like Memphis and SMU. Cisse would be a good matchup for him since neither guy plays more than 6 feet from the basket. At least he would put up some resistance.

    • OU wins at #9 Alabama, 66-61, without leading scorer, leading rebounder, and leading assist man, Reaves (COVID protocol).

        • That was in Norman, but great win for the Sooners. Coach Kruger can really coach.

Only watched for a few minutes. No wonder I was having a problem with the teams' colors.

ball and/or 3G who didn't demand it. I think now AM leads the country (D1) in FG% and around ten boards a
game also. He always had the ability but little emphasis from 3G and teammates to get him the ball. I was
probably the most disappointed fan here when he transferred but happy that he seems happy.
I am right there with you on the level of disappointment when AM transferred and am ecstatic that he is succeeding at GCU. I always felt that AM was on an incredibly short leash. He played tight for fear of making a mistake and getting pulled which is what inevitably would happen. During the NIT run, we were running low on bodies in the post, so AM knew he wouldn't be pulled for every little mistake and his play reflected it. Too bad he wasn't able to build on the NIT run while he was here. Best of luck and continued success to AM!

This... I told my wife the other day, for a HOF coach, he is vastly underrated and appreciated

Kruger seems fine but he’s won exactly one conference regular season championship, 23 years ago at Illinois. Average finish of 5th in his 9 years at OU.

In a sense God Bear was recruited over twice. Echenique was polished when he arrived and pretty much had the 5 sewed up for 2 years. Bilau when he was recruited was talked up by Marshall as potentially skilled enough to play the 4 or the 5. Midtgaard thought he saw the handwriting on the wall and transferred. Smart move on his part...very happy for this young man.

Also of note .. 50% of KUs shots have been 3s (1-11) but somehow they are winning the FT battle 12 to 1 ... They must have been allowed to bring their refs
