Should we be concerned that South Carolina is winless in the SEC and below .500?

If Marshall stays at WSU a few more years, he can get offers that would be far better opportunities than a complete rebuild at SC.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

This discussion is a by-product of success and winning. I for one am thankful that we are discussing these things. However, I wish that people would just enjoy the ride and do their best to make the Marshall basketball feel welcome and supported. As long as the University and booster support system stay competitive and the coaching staff feels loved, who knows how long they'll be here.
I shouldn't have to remind fans but there is nothing, nothing "Mid Majorish" about our program. And it is certainly not a major rebuilding project like an awful lot of open positions will be. Not to mention, there aren't too many places where basketball is "THE" sport like it is here.
Heck, Turgeon stayed here longer then he did at A&M and he left for a school where basketball is "The" sport.
Wichita may not have mountains or an ocean but if you're a top notch college basketball coach, it's pretty darn good. Could we please not start up the coaching insecurities before we've even finished the season?
