Did anyone else get excited about EO's strong board then quick, without thinking, outlet to Cotton?

I know Coach Marshall did. Do describe it the best I know how, think of Denzel Washington and Will Patton coaching "Remember The Titans" when they look at each other when Garry and Julius do their Strong Side bit. That was Marshall and Jans.

Also liked White's take on the break where he went strong to the hoop and finished.

Yes, I loved the outlet pass. No hesitation and right on the mark.

A lot of fans from other MVC teams think the Shockers are going to have a big drop off next year. Man are they in for a rude surprise.

Great basketball by one team, putrid basketball by the other = 43 point margin.

EO and White definitely filled the gaps nicely in this one. EO seems to improve every game. I really liked his backdoor pass to DK for the and 1. I didn't know he could pass like that. That was sweet. Mr. White is gonna be a solid contributor when he's done here for sure.


Maybe our deep bench players understand "killer instinct" more than our starters. Really good game all around though from everybody. Low turnovers, good passing, and excellent play by the bench. A real character showing win.

Anybody remember the 94-59 beatdown SIU gave to us at Kansas Coliseum back in 2003? That was ghastly. This payback was definitely well deserved. Lowery has absolutely murdered that program.

EO is such a FREAK!!! No one that big and that strong should be that fast and jump so high!!! Alas, the basketball Gods cursed him with hands of stone. No matter, HCGM and company have vowed to fix that! Really loved seeing EO in there and watching the ugly dogs wet themselves. Still, as a basketball player, White was the most impressive. He has fantastic positioning on rebounds, screens, post-ups. He's tough and gritty and showed a quick release and range on his shot again tonight. He's going to be REALLY good! Wessel looked like a player too and Anacreon showed his great athleticism as well. What a fun night!

Me neither. That was fantastic! I'm very, very glad EO is starting to make me re-evaluate his capabilities. As for Jake, his play is no surprise to me. He's a keeper!!

I'm surprised the SIU prez had Lowery come back out after half, I don't care what it would cost them.

Unbelieveable. With Stutz out and Hall sitting, lesser teams could have easily folded. Not the Shocks. Great to hear that the team pulled together and EO and White, given the opportunity, really showed their potential.

Our guys played good ball. Not so much to be said about SIU. I felt truly sad for those players. I have no idea how Lowry has let that program go so far down the drain. They played horrible fundamental basketball tonight. Passing was awful, free throws were awful, bad movement around the court on D.

EO, break out game? Yes. Enough to make a permanent change in his confidence? Not sure, but I hope so.

Our bench scored as many points as SIU's entire litter. Nice work men!

I know it was against the puppies, but the team brought it in the face of challenge with Stutz out and Hall out with two early fouls. Compliments to EO for sustaining good play for over 20 minutes. White is savvy good. Evan will end up to be a Graham Hatch type contributor...he is so tough and resilient. I liked the great steal by Vautravers...stole 2 points from EO...lol.

With the talent we have now and the class coming in, GM will have a tough time deciding who won't be in a ten man rotation next year. Some redshirts will be likely.
