The 2013-14 Gregg Marshall team wins the tip and Baker nails a three to start the game.
Sherrod then nails a 3-ball for the 1984-85 Gene Smithson team.
It was a back and forth game for the first 8 minutes, but the 2013-14 Gregg Marshall team was able to take a 20-17 lead at the 2nd media timeout.
After the media timeout, the 2013-14 Gregg Marshall team started putting the hammer down. With under four to go in the first half, Wessel is fouled on the jumpshot and the shot drops, and the team takes a commanding lead 45-29.
To close out the first half, Cotton hits a pull-up jumper with the assist by VanVleet.
