I really love how WSU has been playing and were looking like a damn good team. . . But this game scares me right now, especially after Creightons loss, i feel like their going to come out wanting to prove that they are the #1 team. I see them having a great game but thankfully this game is at Koch. . .

It's going to be a battle like we haven't seen since '06. Creighton will be fighting hard to make sure they don't go 0-2, we're going to be protecting our home AND trying to prove WE are the best team. In other words, there doesn't get much more 'high drama' in college basketball!

On Sports Daily, Coach McDermott called in as scheduled (class act....not every coach would have done that after last night) and went into great detail about the upcoming game.

There was one comment that seemed out of sorts though....he mentioned that "Creighton and Wichita State have one of the great rivalries in the country...".....I'm pretty sure bluejay fans keep harping that this is most definitely NOT a rivalry....no?

It was early. Without question in the first hour. The first segment (12-15 minutes) was all B&B. It could have been as early as the 2nd segment, but I would guess that it was between 915-940. I got to my office around 950, and I heard it while I was still home.

Dave Armstrong is the epitome of perseverance. He went from being a sportcaster on KSNW to simply being the in-game announcer at Henry Levitt. (Did Dancin' Don Hall succeed Dave?)

He then was selling checks.

Does anyone else remember the absolute Frank Martin-esque stare that Eddie Fogler gave to Armstrong when he kept on blabbing on as a WSU player was about to shoot a free throw.
