  • Colorado won a real barn burner over 1-9 Texas Southern, 56-51.

    • Utah State up 14 at half.

      • Side Note: Butler, @ Stanford, just gave the PAC-12 a well placed kick in the nads by knocking off their star team 71-66. PAC-12 may be lucky to hold on to 10th best conference this year.

Yeah but they will probably still get 3 bids (although looking at how bad their rpis are they could end up with just 2 bids this year- they will NEVER make a BCS conference a one bid league).

At least that is another bid or two available for the Valley or some other non-BCS teams.

          • Utah St beat a decent Kent State team. Cal Fullerton won also.

            • RPI now at 28- Utah St's win pushed theirs to 158- moving towards respectability. UAB's now at 168 and Fullerton at 189, so Chicago St is the only 200+ opponent right now.

It looks more and more like this schedule will continue to benefit us throughout the year.

              • USC getting killed by KU- USC is really awful
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

That was the game that Ku was trying to get USC to move to Wichita. If they had done that, then USC would have an excuse for losing so badly.

                    • To bad Mo St didnt beat W Vir- they would have been matched against Baylor instead of St Marys

                      • I think the second half against us kick-started a roll that Utah State will ride the rest of the season. They're not the same team that lost to corpus christi and at home to denver.

                          • Games today/tonight:

UNLV at home vs Cal- another good RPI booster for us if UNLV can get this one (Cal is 10-2)
Chicago St at Cincinnati- 0-13 on the way...

                            Valley:
SIU vs Clemson- Clemson isn't very good at 6-5 with losses to UTEP and Coastal Carolina. But... SIU is SIU.
MSU vs St. Mary's- along with UNLV, a really good game to get a win, St. Mary's is 10-2 with losses to #7 Baylor and a sneaky good Denver team. They also beat UNI by 16.

Chicago St and SIU are almost certain losses, but UNLV should win, and MSU has about a 50-50 shot with St. Mary's. Hoping for 2-2, expecting 1-3. 3-1 would be a miracle, 0-4 a disaster.

                            • SIU is looking good so far against Clemson, up 31-23 at the under 4 timeout. Game is on ESPNU.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

                              • SIU still in the lead 31-24 at the half. SIU closed out the half on a 19-4 run and held Clemson without a field goal for the last 13 min. of the half.
