original post updated. It was almost a perfect night with all of the Valley teams winning and all of our non-con opponents winning (except for Tulsa, who lost to a Valley opponent so it is a wash).

For RPI purposes it's actually better that Creighton won since we play them twice.

It is better for WSU's RPI, but it would be better for Tulsa to have won to increase the number of top 100 victories for WSU.

It is still possible that Tulsa makes the top 100.

I'm proud to say that when I go to the KU board, I don't make a tool of myself. I think I'll do that now. It does seem to make a lot more sense for a WSU fan to visit Phog.net after a KU loss than for a Phog fan to visit ShockerNet after a KU loss.

That is unless the Phog fan is possessed by penis envy.

Won't help them especially losing at home, but Ohio appears to be pretty solid this year. Plus still a long way to go. I would expect that UNI will make a run at the Bobcats in the 2nd half.

I was wrong on that one. UNI never really did make a run. They pulled to within 8 very early in the 2nd half after trailing by 12 at halftime but Ohio answered quickly and decisively with an 8-0 run and UNI never threatened again.

Wow that is too bad about UNI. The Valley really needs to get multiple bids this year. The 2006 and 2007 money is running out.
