Today demonstrates classic GM. He is confident in his ability to evaluate talent. He doesn't need to check the star count.

He has used the virus circumstances to his advantage by signing players that were ready to blow up if everyone wasn't grounded. This reminds me of the FVV theft he pulled off, only hopefully this time in multiples.

They obviously were physically talented enough to win but it takes more than physical talent. .
