All I have to say is this: our offices are back up and running in areas where public officials took the virus very seriously by effectively ending any congregations of people. Also they required testing for minimal symptoms vs. setting bars high for testing. OTOH - we have offices in areas that pretended everything was overblown and are on the brink.

My question is, where does it stop? There are billions of places where people congregate that could be infected. Grocery stores, churches, banks, anywhere, etc. I get the whole mitigate as much as possible, but realistically where does it stop?

The only way to truly stop the spread of this is to shut down EVERYTHING for 2 weeks. Otherwise, you aren't gonna stop it.

I think the best course of action would be all the high risk individuals just stay home for a while. It'll eventually pass. China's case rate and death rate have essentially bottomed out. They're already talking about starting up some sporting events there in a couple weeks.

Sir Charles and Jay Williams this morning calling for the tournament to be completely cancelled. That would be unfortunate, but I get it.

What would the NCAA do if a team makes the sweet 16 (or F4) and then a player tests positive? I genuinely have no idea. Postpone? Cancel in the middle of the tournament? Force that team to forfeit?

NCAA is in a tough spot now. Public pressure is mounting to postpone/cancel the tournament. I’m selfish and hope they don’t...will understand if they do cancel though.
