    3. Evaluate your style of delivery by taking the reactions of others into account.
    4. If you get to this point and don't see how your delivery comes off as snarky, passive-aggressive, or condescending, then it's probably safe to say that you fit the informal definition of insanity.

I stand corrected for my typing and lack of proof reading. Bitterness? I think not. Read what you've posted here, then read again leaving off the last sentence or two and you'll find your questions/comments much more honestly taken by others.

I do love the Valley because seemingly every time a Valley school plays the Squaks, they win.

Next time I would recommend leaving off the last half of that sentence. At that point I will take it more seriously.

Seriously boys... calm down. I asked about liking the Valley and you start circling the wagons. I know you hate KU. I get that you beat us once way back in the day and that it's KU's fault for not playing in the Roundhouse. My lord, cool your jets.

You sir are nothing more than a troll and will be treated as such unless you prove differently. For what it's worth, I am done with you as you aren't worth the time and have zero desire to have a civil discussion on any topic. You are fooling no one but yourself.

With those things in mind, I come for enlightened discussion and minor level trolling. Good Day to you all.
The obvious sign of a troll is to make some condescending remark disguised as something else - such as
I thought you guys loved the Valley
Thenb, when that comment is seen for what it truly is, to stick around and defend against every request to drop the subject or restate the question. When no one bites, the trol posts more and more trying to get a rise out of someone in order to eventually sucker someone into making a comment derogatory to the troll's school.

ICTHawk, your first lie was when you said you came in peace. If you truly came in peace, you wouldn't put a KU avater on a WSU message board - and all your posts have appeared to be trolling.

'Beat MU' comes over from the Phog board and has a KU avatar. But, he is always classy when discussing the Shox on SN or on their board. This guy is being glib and walking the fine line but getting bent out of shape based on what he has said makes us look like little brother who is all too sensitive. Oh, and to answer your question KU guy, would we like to see the Shox in a stronger conference? Youbetcha! Or, we would like to see certain teams in the Valley move on and replaced with better programs.

Question to you, now that it appears the Big 12 has settled down - how scared were you when the real possibility of going to the Big Least or a mid-major conference was swirling around? It was refreshing to see KU fans crapping their pants and temporarily knocked down from their pedestal. Alas, the Big 12 figured it out and all is well in the universe.

However, C-USA has already said it would be open to expanding with basketball schools, and with a few C-USA schools close-by makes much more sense geographically. Major conference realignment is not over yet so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
I don't really see the advantage, basketball-wise, of C-USA over the Valley. As a Tulsan, I'd much prefer TU be in the Valley. After Memphis, what other programs in C-USA can stack up with the Valley?

Plus the way it's set up now, Memphis only comes to Tulsa every other year. I assume it'd be the same deal for WSU in C-USA. So you're gonna trade home and homes with decent basketball schools for SMU, Houston, etc?

SMU, Rice, Houston, Tulane, Southern Miss are all worse programs in terms of fanbase, arenas and tradition than anybody in the Valley.

C-USA can never have a conference basketball tourney on par with the Valley just because of its geographic spread and small fanbases at so many schools. So you're playing conference tournaments on other schools' home floors.

It looks like Houston, SMU and UCF are all leaving C-USA for the Big East. I really dont see any appeal in joining the C-USA over the MVC.

                              Post. Of. The. Thread.

Now to the discussion of trolling, please go back and read my posts in this thread. But try and read them as if they were sincere. Take out all your insta-hatred. I am surrounded by WSU fans and regularly discuss the valley with them. Almost all of them love being in the Valley. They love the rivalries, love traveling to away games, enjoy the spirit of the conference. Hence my shock when I saw someone comment that they would prefer to be elsewhere.

I have a KU avatar because its the same avatar I use on all the sports message boards I post on. I'm a KU fan and have been all my life. When you guys travel to Kansas City do you make sure to never sport your Shocker gear? You wear it proudly and hope the people around you treat you with respect. I have nothing against WSU. I attended WSU for a few years before transferring. I genuinely like seeing WSU do well.

Some of you have such a hatred for another school that it has blinded you to a person looking for actual discussion. I didn't make any comments about KU's teams. I didn't make any derogatory comment about WSU. I have offered an opposing opinion of where WSU stands than the sunshine pumpers. I have said multiple times UNLV was a quality win. I disagree that Colorado is, but we shall see where they end up at the end of the year. In this thread I asked about your conference with genuine interest. Please do be showing me where I have trolled?

Now, back to the OP (original post) its a nice thing to see WSU in the national media. Seeing WSU get one vote a week ago for the top 25 was great. A win in Tulsa (I view it as quality although some here don't) and then plowing through the rest of your OOC home games should garner some more national respect.

I'd be happy to discuss this with you. I was terrified that we would be knocked down to a non BCS conference. In the long run it would have destroyed the program. However, if the B12 had fallen apart I imagine handful of the North teams would have all gone to the "Big Least" and thus strengthened it. Our ridiculously bad football team would have instantly become competitive (no real competition). Alas we were very lucky and rode the coat tails of UT and OU like always.
