So you're telling me that if a UNC fan comes to a KU board to discuss KU basketball and possibly troll a little bit that your fanbase will be completely classy with said fan? BTW, not sure I've read a "ghey who" comment in any thread you've been posting in unless you made the statement. Seems to me you may have a bit of a complex yourself.

Lulz. On the two KU boards I frequent there are Kentucky, UNC, KSU, etc fans all over them. Hell you guys banned one of your own, TheShocker, who now runs around on my main KU board. Most rational KU fans can respect other programs and engage in discussion. Sadly, my experience with WSU fans is of the irrational variety. Was told ShockerNET was different. Seems you enjoy living up to your fanbases stereotype.

Dang. I think I'm actually starting to agree with you.

We have talked and talked about Big 6 teams getting into the Dance over mid majors to what we viewed as Big 6 bias by the selection committee. ICThawk did nothing more than state the same thing.

Perhaps some here would have been less offended if he said WSU instead of CU as a 12 seed. He was making an example and stated such.

Maybe KU gets the higher seedings because they have deserved it more, at least most of the time. Yup, they have joyfully fallen to the killer B's, UNI, and VCU, but they also have a recent National Championship. Some non Big 6 schools did get high seedings. SDS was a 2 seed and BYU a 3. It should be an upset because a much lower seed beats a higher seed, not just because a mid major beat a Big 6 team. As fans of a non Big 6 school, we just enjoy it more when it happens that way.

As much as I didn't like some of ICThawk's early added comments (and still don't) on other threads, I don't believe he's been that way on this thread, yet, I'm seeing all sorts of "attacks" by others here. Yes, it's happening because of his earlier comments, but either debate your position with reason or just click the ignore button and avoid his posts altogether.

He was added to ignore early on due to constantly talking down and being an ***. I only get glimpses of his comments when people quote him and nothing has changed so I don't really see why anyone should take anything he says for more than what it is... An attempt to troll and stir up trouble which somehow strokes his ego.I do love how he assumes everyone hates KU. Many people on this board don't. Many do. And as I've said numerous times, I grew up in a very pro KU family and house. They are what they are. I don't come close to hating them, but do dislike many of their arrogant fans, like ICThawk, who come around and start spewing stupidity and assuming it's all true.

We treat fans of other teams very well when they behave themselves in our house. And that includes a handful of KU fans who've been around for quite some time. I really wish people would stop quoting this fool so I could go back to completely being oblivious to the **** he brings here.

CU isn't going to be a 12 seed, period. They're going to lose 6 games, at the MOST, and be no worse than a 8 seed and as high as a 4.

Creighton plays six games at Missouri State? And when did we start calling the THE Missouri State University. :P

You would like to think that every comment to your posts revolves around your affiliation with Kansas University. You brought up a few good points and that is fine, swell, super - if you possess anything close to good judgment, or manners, you would keep a leash on it.

P.S. I find it interesting (I take that back), curious, sad actually – that you apparently decided to post on this site in bad faith. What I don’t find it, based on experience, is surprising.

realtimerpi.com have the Shocks up to #27 in RPI.

The MVC is currently ranked as #7 among conferences just barely ahead of the A-10.

The Top 6 teams in the MVC have an average RPI of 38. Unfortunately the bottom 4 (BU, ILS, EU and SIU) have an average RPI of 246. SIU at #326 could make a run at #344 (worst RPI ranking in D-1 basketball). SIU has three games coming up against teams with a combined record of 0-18. Let's hope they win all 3 of these because those may be their last victories of the year.

The problem is, I don't know many KU BBall fans in Wichita that are so knowledgeable. Bradley does a number on KU five years ago, and next it's "KU should crush UNI from the lowly MVC." They were highly fortunate against SIU in between that. Creighton could beat KU this year also. We'll see what happens when the MVC champs and Big 12 champs both get sent (presumably) to the midwest region.. like when Indiana State beat Oklahoma in 02 (?), for example. I think from the KU perspective, the MVC may as well be the Trans-Atlantic conf or Southland conf.. THAT is where they err.
