I feel like the team has been pretty focused coming off of a slightly disappointing PR tournament. They handled UAB well and will handle Cal-Fullerton well.

This qualifies as a trap game, but surely...

This will be a tougher envirenment for the visitors.
They will improve, but not tonight. If they don't change their starters, Fullerton could go 6-7,6-7 as their tallest starters.
That won't make life easy for them inside.

Imma go out on a limb...

            Shox -- 111
            Tiits -- 60

The Shox 2nd teamers outscore CSF starters.

Fullerton has one of he most unusual rosters you will find:

Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

They have a roster of 17 players (15 active) consisting of the following:

              7 Seniors (6 active), 6 Juniors, 2 Sophs (1 active) and 2 Frosh (1 walk-on).

8 players (6 active) are D-1 transfers, 6 players are JUCO transfers and 3 players (1 walk-on) came in from high school.

Alex Harris and Sammy Yeager are sitting out this year due to transfer rules.

Doesn't look like they have really played anyone yet:
              Redlands (Div III) 118-68 HW
              Nicholls State (1-6) 73-63 NW
              Louisiana Lafayette (3-5) 69-63 RW
              Houston Baptist (2-5) 83-88 NL
              CS Bakersfield (4-1) 66-73 HL

80% of their scoring from 5 players. Here is the link to their season stats:

realtimerpi.com predicts an 84-57 win for the Shocks. Not sure the spread will be that much but I would like to see the Shocks score in the 80's. Could use the nice discount at SportsTime Fan Shop.

                That's a hell of a breakdown, '72. Nice work.

I'm not understanding what you said regarding walkons. Are there 17 players and 1 of them a walkon? This would be illegal.

Obviously several other guys are paying their own way this year. Not sure which ones are on scholarship and which ones aren't other than I know the 5'6" freshman guard listed on the roster is a walk-on. I did not bother to read every player's bio to try and figure out who is on scholarship and who is not.

Of the 15 players eligible to play this year the only one not listed in the stats is the walk-on freshman. He may not even be on the team anymore. Who knows. But if you don't get minutes in a 50 point blow-out of a D-III oponent you ain't going to see much, if any, playing time. Maybe he is injured. Maybe they are redshirting him (although at 5'6", 150 lb that would surprise me). I really don't know.

The real point is that their roster is dominated by Seniors and Juniors and that all of these guys are D-1 transfers and JUCO transfers.

No looking to Sunday. Focus must be asserted on Fullerton.

But make no mistake about it, Fullerton is not really that good. This *should* be a walk in the park. But that's assuming the guys remain focused and have improved since their last couple of outings.

                        70-49 Shockers.

Gotta bump this to the top. No way is a UNLV thread on the top, that's bad mojo.

HCGM just said yesterday was one of the worst practices they have had all year... He hopes they shake off it today.

We are going to suffocate these guys on defense, who knows if our shots will fall.

The point spread should be the same regardless.

Offense has been butt ugly vs a seemingly veteran team in Fullerton. I'll take WSU by six to nine points. Home court is the difference.
