It looked to me, that there were about 3,500 Upper Bowl seats remaining (I didn't count every single seat), There were only 3 seats in the Lower Bowl.

So we are about 11,500 seats sold or 77% filled.

I think to get this home-and-home deal done with OU the parties had to agree that the games would be held off-campus.

BTW, the attendance at Chesapeake Arena in OKC last year was 7,015 and no doubt a decent chunk of those were Shocker fans.

People missing this game are missing a great experience. First, downtown Wichita isn't the downtown Wichita that many of us remember... it's a vibrant area filled with numerous shopping and restaurant options. Our group of grampies are going to party before and hopefully after the game... we only party after wins. There was a day when I would have given one of my prized family jewels to play a game in downtown Wichita against a Big 12 opponent. Looks like we'll fill the student section and as I've mentioned before, still hoping for a big walk-up crowd. Come on Wichitans and fellow Shocker fans… pull your collective heads out of your a$$es; we have a team knocking on the door of the Top 25 and they're ready to kick it in.
