Also from my trip to Indy with Doc. Some Kentucky fans were whining about a call. Can't remember whether it was a foul on them, not-called foul on us or what. Still, they were complaining, so Doc shut them down.

I am a Shocker fan, but not a diehard like many of the posters here. I wouldn't go as far as calling WSU fans toxic, but WSU does have more than their fair share of annoying fans. I am talking about the fans that complain about every call, throw a tantrum every time a Shocker misses a shot and the repetitive clapping, chanting stuff that just becomes mindless rote at some point. I have been to games and the fans are juiced up and acting like they are at a Two Minutes Hate not a sporting event. It is like the whole Play Angry shtick gives them an excuse to act like complete dbags. WSU fans can take it way too far sometimes and we all know it.

I prefer to watch sports on tv. I don't have to deal with high ticket prices, traffic, parking, overpriced concessions, obscured sightlines, annoying fans, and bad wifi. I can also record the game which allows me to pause it for breaks, and fast forward past commercials, time outs, free throws, etc.

IMO, watching sports in person is overrated and with HD tv available, it is an old school outdated way of watching games There is really no debate that attending a game in person is a vastly inferior fan experience in every way unless you are into the group interaction aspect of it..
