B) if we end up in the NIT, we will have lived up to our own billing. I guess I wanna feel optimistic, in hopes we don't have 3 craptastic games in a row. Stupid turnovers need to end. Our coaching needs to step up better. We need to actually run an offense and preferably one that involves the INSIDE guys, Stutz and Hall. Temple is certainly no Alabama. I think we do have the ability to run over them. Now do I think we will? I dunno.

I'd consider this a season-defining game. I know it's early. But blowing chunks at this tourney against what will likely be two of the toughest teams on our schedule will be quite a downer. I'm gonna be cautiously optimistic and hope the real guys step up tomorrow..

I've always appreciated Temple's tradition and have enjoyed watching them. Was not blown away by the Purdue game.Maybe because they were playing Purdue. Athletic, but no more so than the Shocks.

Fernandez is a cagey veteran guard in the international style.
Moore has been a major scorer for the past two years and had 27 against Purdue.
Wyatt is a gunner that 6th man of the year last year in the A-10.
Hollis-Jefferson at the 4. 10 pts and 5 rebs.
Eric, 7-footer. Avg 11 boards a game.

6 players average over 26 mins a game. The 5 starters avg over 29 a game. Not deep at all, 8-man rotation.

Watching the Temple-Purdue game it was apparent that the Owls are not a great rebounding team, though Eric pulled down 15 against WMich.

Time to put away the "small" lineup and get to it with Rags, Murry, Smith, Hall and Stutz.
