I stick with DK starting. He always seems to come out on fire, and I don't want to leave a hot hand on the bench to start a game.

I would be fine with that too.

So far nobody is looking for an NIT repeat of 66-57.

King Wu, I am looking at the Jan 21 game against Sillinois or the Feb 4 game against the Sycamores. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of wiggle room on this. My kids actually enjoy me going to their events as well. :)

We dont have one star. We have many stars. Our depth alllows us to have a few players with an off night to still win. Im predicting a huge game from DK and Stutz needs to bang down low.

Kung Wu--what we want to repeat is a 'Sequel Garden Party Surpass.' Can you dig it? Let's put the 'kung-wu-one-two' on them and hang the tide out to dry. Groovy
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Bama could certainly win. I think Bama leads at the half and WSU wins.

I disagree with your analysis; I will explain in a later post.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

In order for WSU to get in "foul trouble" the Shocks would need to be called for a lot of fouls.

Center (5): WSU has at least 15 fouls to give. Stutz, Orukpe and Hall.
PF (4): Not counting Hall's 5 fouls mentioned above, the Shocks have 20 fouls to give. (Hall), Smith, Anacreon, White and Vautravers.
SF (3): Not counting Smith, WSU has 15+ fouls to give (Smith), Murry, Wessel and Kyles.
For SG and PG, WSU is in no danger.

Do the sycamore game. Has the potential to be a MUCH better game.

S Illinois could be the worst team in the history of the Missouri Valley - and I'm including Drake football.

EO and Hall could have better games against 'Bama. CU liked to pull theier big guys out of the paint and put them on the perimeter. EO is a monster on D under the basket, but he looks pretty much out of place and a bit confused 20' from the basket.

I think 'Bama's big guys are more likely to hang around down low, which is where Hall is most comfortable.

Vautravers is NOT a PF. I suppose we could throw him in there to foul though.

I'll take the "18 yr. old" comment as a compliment. Try 18 x 3 and then some more...................I've probably officiated, coached and observed as a fan many more games in my time than you have even thought about. I call 'em like I see 'em and this year's Shox team is a loooooooooong way from last year's team so don't kid yourself into believing that they are better..........not!

                                That might be true; however:

"..........not!" Really? You’re at least 53 years old and you write "..........not!"?

Don't get me wrong - I don't care about this but at the ripe old age of 53 (and them some), with your (presumed) wisdom and experience you might do better than "..........not!".
