I call 'em like I see 'em and this year's Shox team is a loooooooooong way from last year's team so don't kid yourself into believing that they are better..........not!
You might want to have a clue who you're dealing with before you throw down the gauntlet.

I don't doubt that your credentials are what you claim them to be, but with that background, I would expect either
      A) A little better basketball knowledge
      -or-
      B) The common sense to not go on an opponent's message board in the OOC section of the season and bad-mouth that team. That displayed lack of common sense is probably what triggered the "18-year-old" comment. We expect that type of bad behavior from teenagers - not grown men.

Here's another clue. Check those little boxes underneath a poster's title. That's that poster's reputation. You will notice that you have one itty-bitty little box. Unfortunately, there is nothing lower than that. The good Doctor Wu has something like 11 of those boxes. Going onto an opponent message board and attempting to participate in a pi$$ing match with one of the most respected posters pretty much never has a good outcome.

You're welcome here, but show some respect. If you insist on baiting the bear, the bear will bite you - repeatedly.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

I think 'Bama's big guys are more likely to hang around down low, which is where Hall is most comfortable.
        This.

Should be a very physical game. Not sure who gets the advantage in that aspect but from what I can tell Hall and EO like to be physical.

If Dandy Randy gets in this game the Shocks will either be cruising to a win or will be getting crushed.

I hope both of you are correct. Hall does remind me of Charles Oakley - that foul in the lane yesterday made my night (not dirty - he was just protecting the paint). I do think Hall will be fine; as for EO I was encouraged by his play yesterday he is, in fact, coming around. He moves like a SF - get the brain comfortable with the athletic ability, the system, and watch out. I hope his focus remains on the defense end - set picks, hit the glass, and be an enforcer in the lane, for now.

                And that's being optimistic.

A lot of things have to change in 24 hours to have a chance..

                  I wouldn't.

Fail. Evidently you feel you have a credibilty problem - at least your perceptive. Not smart, but perceptive.

How would you really know? Did you watch every Shocker game last year to actually be able to compare them now? I can only imagine you are trying to compare Last year NIT Champion to this year team - NOW. That is not rationale or you are now just a Suck-a-more trolling the WSU forum.

Alabama looked scary long against Maryland, loads of 6'5" to 6'8" guys with tons of athleticism. Maryland looked pretty bad most of the game, but I think a lot of it had to do with Alabama's defense and aggressive play.

We're going to have our hands full tonight. To win we'll need to do the same things that were necessary to beat them last year; play solid D, rebound, and get some shots to fall. If we can do those things then we'll have a shot. The problem is that we don't look anywhere near the form we were in when we last saw these guys, and they look exactly how I remember them at MSG.

This in and of itself means nothing. Maybe all this experience is at the your local YMCA. You may have been the worst official, lousiest coach and most idiotic fan ever or maybe the opposite is true. It really is irrelevant. However, if you really are as experienced and brilliant as you seem to be implying you would not be making such a sweeping generalization about a team that is working in many new faces which you have seen one time very early in the year.
That in and of itself leads me to believe that if I could buy you for what your actually worth and sell you for what you think your worth I could do pretty well financially.

Ooooh, Mr. @WinthropGrad: you want the Sycamore game over "Sillinois" (LOVE IT!) big time, if you can at all swing it! It will be a muuuuuuuuuuuuch better game.

Center (5): WSU has at least 15 fouls to give. Stutz, Orukpe and Hall.
PF (4): Not counting Hall's 5 fouls mentioned above, the Shocks have 20 fouls to give. (Hall), Smith, Anacreon, White and Vautravers.
SF (3): Not counting Smith, WSU has 15+ fouls to give (Smith), Murry, Wessel and Kyles.
For SG and PG, WSU is in no danger.

If Anacreon, White and Vautravers are getting serious minutes, then yes, that is 'trouble'.

Or, we are up by 20 at that point, and cruise to a 16 pt victory.
