    And that's being optimistic.

A lot of things have to change in 24 hours to have a chance..
I am cautiously chalking the game tonight up to playing not to lose......not sure if I hope I'm right or not.

I have to agree with you here. Stutz will be abused just like last year in the championsh....... Oh wait......

The Tide thrives on the spectacular plays created by steals and breaks, WSU guard David Kyles remembers.
"A lot of egos on their team," Kyles said. "If we stop the highlights, get back on transition and dig it out of the post a little bit, we'll be OK."

I gotta say, Kyles is playing and talking like a senior leader. I love it. We have a very experienced, very serious team.

I hope they get into Mitchell and Green's heads tomorrow night.

This may be the toughest game we play all season. I do believe we have a chance to win, but it will be a close game. If we stay with them, we will beat them. By how much, I have no idea.

                Tide - 74
                Cheer - 68

I've run out of Kool-Aid. After watching both games today, I don't see the Shox taking out the Tide. It's certainly possible, but it's going to take a lot better game than the Shox played against the Buffs.

'Bama looks a lot closer to "mid-season" form than the Shox. I don't know if going short against 'Bama works at all. Hall is starting to look like a JuCo at the start of the season - needs some time to adjust to higher-level D1 ball.

WSU - Alabama is looking like the best game all day. It's on ESPN2 in an ideal time slot. The closest game for national attention is Arizona - Miss. St, which is the game on ESPN2 right before the Shox. This game could have a bigger TV audience than the NIT championship.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Good luck again vs. Alabama. Enjoyed watching game last night. Have to tell you though as a fan of a conference foe would be expected to...........I don't remember WSU going inside in the first half.......shooting too many jump shots too quick. They did get the message to go inside after the half. Looked better but Stutz is by himself in there. The Shox game doesn't strike any fear in me at this point in time. I will admit that our Sycamores aren't back to form after two games either.

Seriously guys? At least wsu has a chance of winning this game tonight. I'm going with Shox- 75, Tide- 69... It could be worse, we could be KSU, who play the Tide in the Sprint Center this year. KSU is terrible this year, THEY have no chance at all at beating the Tide and they will get destroyed.. So i'm being an optimistic WSU fan here and saying we at least have a chance tonight. A better chance than some other teams will this season.

You did good yesterday, and failed today. If the Shox don't strike any fear into you right now, fine. We're beating PAC12 teams, your team is struggling with Eastern Illinois. Maybe the Trees get lucky and beat WSU once, again this season, maybe not. But don't try and compare the programs, much less the teams. WSU is bigger, faster, stronger, deeper, more experienced and flat out better than ISU this year, last year and pretty much every year.

The funny thing is you and other Tree fans think your "form" is 2 games against Valley teams that were awful last March. I'll look at the 14 losses and decade of ineptitude as a more reasonable example of Tree form. Try to win more than 50% of your games out of conference this season so you don't contribute to good teams not making the dance yet again.

                        Thank you

Leave it to KC to predict the worst loss in 3 years for WSU, when WSU has one of it's 3 best teams in 25+ seasons. Indeed you are consistent.

KC Shox is a prack, but he's our prack and he's a consistent prack. What I don't need is a random 18 year old Tree upstart coming in our house and trying to give us what for when their entire program has been a complete drag on the entire conference for a decade plus.

This will be a defensive slugfest. Do not expect to score many points. Turnovers will be the key. Protect the ball, get more shot attempts and win. HCGM knows how to coach games like this. Score: WSU 56. BAMA 51. I am still planning on making it to my first Shockers game this season for those of you who remember me.
