The player was suspended for the rest of the calendar year. Which covers 2 games. Way too short IMHO.

The ref was ordered to obtain clearance from an optometrist before he could resume duties.

Okay, so the stuff about the ref is "fake news". He certainly needs to be called to account however.

Even Jackie "Chan" Carmichael thinks that deserves more than 2 games.

Guy should've been kicked off the team. What a joke.

And there easily could've been criminal charges filed for this BS.

After Georgetown's standouts James Akinjo and Josh LeBlanc were dismissed, the meltdown continues...

"Georgetown forwards Galen Alexander and Myron Gardner announced Friday they are transferring, becoming the third and fourth players to leave the program in the past two weeks. The transfers leave coach Patrick Ewing and the Hoyas with just seven scholarship players."

And easily could have injured the kid he hit very seriously (or worse). He is a very lucky that that did not happen. St. Leo's should be ashamed for not taking this more seriously.

Doesnt a school have an obligation to file assault charges when one is witnessed. Why is the victim's school not pressing the issue?

That looked like Cumberland was passing it rather than shooting it. I guess he thought that someone was going to be down there to catch the pass.

It looked like the refs blew that foul call. The Cincinnati player got the ball and the Colgate player ran into him and acted like he got knocked down.
