I have season tickets for the Roundhouse and just bought my IBA tickets today. Section 103, Row E. Fantastic seats. I do it because I love watching the Shox play and also because I support the team...no matter where they play. I prefer the Roundhouse but understand the importance of having a game at the IBA. Did you know according to their staff, the loudest crowd they've ever had at the IBA was during last years Tulsa game? That's saying something of the fans that attended. Why argue the same points over and over? If it helps our program...why not get out and show support? Our fan base is one of the biggest recruiting tools the staff can use to entice players. However, I wonder why we don't show it in here. Yah, I get it. Blow off steam and vent frustrations but in the end we all come together in supporting our team.

Just heard from a co-worker that if u bank at intrust you can get a voucher for $10 off your ticket and it can be used with promotions also. That would have been nice to know when I bought my 13 tickets!

I did the Dealsaver thing to get 4 lower bowl tickets for $94. Will go get the actual tickets after work today. I sat in the upper deck last year and didn't care for it, but was willing to wait for deals to get lower bowl tickets at a better price. I won that bet. I figured at worst I would end up sitting in the upper deck again, so it was worth the wait.

If the original price structure would have been something like $50-40-30 for the lower bowl and $20-10 for the upper deck, do you think it would have sold better from the start?

I suspect a large majority of people who read shockernet (and are in the area) already have purchased their tickets. It is the non-shockernet audience that needs to be informed.

Sounds good. Maybe we will get a brisk walk-up business on Friday and get this up to 12,000 which, despite the deep discounting and promotion required, I think is a very good crowd for his opponent.
