I would love a 3 seed....Don't want to play CJ though. NM State is an upset waiting to happen.

Staggering to think that at this time last season, we were #130ish in KenPom and just hoping we'd be able to make it to the NIT. Insane.

Its early. Like, really, really early. We'll lose some games between today and Sunday in March. As balanced as all the teams are, I'm probably more anxious about matchups than actual seeding. This could be the year a 1 seed loses to a 16 (again) - maybe even two #1 seeds could get burned.

This is absolute, unmitigated, unintelligent mess... Predicting a #1 to lose to a #16 might be edgy or hip but when you further it to 2 #1 seeds losing in a single year you sound like a paste eater!!!

Of probable #1 seeds by the end of the season: Duke? KU? Auburn? Ohio State? Kentucky? Baylor? All completely winnable games depending on matchups. Can't see it? I can. Its happened a number of times already this season, and we're barely halfway thru. Don't know about anyone else, but I love a good roller coaster.

I think your logic is founded. This has been a wackier year than the normal wacky. Evansville? SFA? 5 #1's before the new year?

Funny thing is, I don't know that it is wacky, anymore. The playing field is really leveling off. Good coaching at some smaller schools, lack of upperclassmen, injuries, and breakout games by unfamiliar faces and matchup problems have made for an interesting dynamic this season. I can easily see someone winning the National Championship by beating someone and all the P5 fans saying "yeah, but they did it in 2020, when NOBODY was good." I think what most of them would mean to say is "consistent", or consistently good.
