Burton has been slow bringing out of the backcourt. He uses 8-9 seconds most times. It eats up too much of the shot clock and for an offense struggling to run their offense, every second counts.

All things considered, a pretty decent half. This game gets played in December and we would probably be going into half time down 10+. I’m confused by how bad the officiating is. Do these refs got it out for us or something?

We are playing offense like we are playing in December.

Not at all. We are more steady with JB at the point guard spot and we have more balanced contributions. AM was not putting the ball in the hole in December.

Considering the turnovers, the bad offense, and the horrific officiating, I'm happy to be down 1 at the break.

Hopefully stuff starts "evening" out in the second half.

they were in the double bonus before their 6th foul was called on them. there is also a fairly large disparity in foul shots.

If we can keep this close and either win it or lose by a point or two. I'd say we've turned the corner and hopefully no longer play like we did the first couple of losses.

AM wide open for a lob at the end of the half but JB was just smothered. Guys are playing hard.
I think JE could do some damage the second half if we can make some entry passes. Time for
Jones to get hot. ES had a good half on BOTH ends. AM holding his own so far. Good minutes
for IC also.

I think AM and IPBC did damage every single time they touched the ball on offense...which was like 4 times.
