These two are my favorites from their "bio's", although none of them make me want to stand up and shout.

I know many of would like to see a change in the leadership of Shocker baseball, but making Gene Stephenson the WSU President is a little exteme.

I liked Glen Hahn Cope, and John Bardo. Bardo has written a few books on higher education administration.

Bjong Wolf Yeigh (pronounced be-yong wolf yeah; prefers to go by Wolf) serves as president of the State University of New York Institution of Technology. John William Bardo served as chancellor of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, N.C., from 1995-2011. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Cincinnati, his master's degree from Ohio University in sociology, and his Ph.D. from Ohio State University in sociology. These are the two that hit me. Bardo is probably my favorite based upon the limited bio provided. Wolf has an impressive background with the schools he's gotten degrees from.

Was curious why Bardo was the former chancellor and found this: magazine.wcu.edu/2011/03/end-of-an-era/

Doesn't answer the question but a good write up

Anyone with degrees from those universities and likes to go by the name of Wolf has my vote. It makes me nervous when people have advanced degrees in public anything. Almost like a "professional politician". The chancellor can be the political guy.

Wolf was a nickname he picked up in his military career. He obviously liked it as he uses it today.

Both of them are very impressive people. It will be interesting to see how the campus reacts to each of them next week.

I can't go to the forums because I have class and I haven't seen anything on how they went or what's been said. So I can't really comment. But I'm curious to know what's going on and what others may think if they've at least heard what's been going on.

I'll be interested to hear how Yeigh's visit goes. I do like the fact that his entire background in in engineering.
