No, but had it been reviewed, I think it would have been upheld because, although his left foot and body was completely set, he did slide his right foot over about 3-6 inches just before contact.

If it's not obvious in around 30 seconds or less then the call on the court should stand. If they have to look at it for 5 minutes then it's obviously way too close to be irrefutable.

I want a reasonable explanation on the guidelines of these reviews. My impression is that if there is not irrefutable evidence the call stands. There is no way they had good enough angles on that ball under the KU basket to overturn that call. The Dook player grabbed the ball with both hands and the KU player was going with just one hand. The ball shoots away out of bounds. No way that could have come off of the Dook player that way without being pushed away. There should at least be a high school physics teacher at the review desk to assist. There just was not great enough evidence to change that call. Total crap.

On the replays, they need to review all the camera angles at regular speed instead of at slow motion. Unless they can see that the ball was off a certain player when shown at regular speed, then the play should stand as called.

I happened to be driving around yesterday and heard the KU radio call late in the second half. Brian Hanni isn't nearly as annoying as Bob Davis was, but I chuckled when he said that Duke was getting all the 50-50 calls.

KU never gets 50-50 calls. They just get 30-70, 20-80, and sometimes 10-90 calls.
