Exhibition: WSU vs Newman (Game Thread)

SHJ looked good, very good. Kelly's job is to help win, and that's what he does. Newman was a lot better than Henderson, but we were a lot better than we were on Saturday. My SWAG on attendance would be 4500. Mittgard looks a lot better if somebody actually gets him the ball. HCGM yells a LOT. Reaves looked a lot better.

marshall said last spring that moving to the aac would require everybody, coaches included, to up their game. well, now he is leading by example! bad passing vs. henderson st.? already a thing of the past vs. newman. two exhibitions games, and already marshall is in rare form.. defensive maestro that DEMANDS his team run the ball when the oppurtunity presents itself.. and finish with a dunk or off the glass! oh, this is gonna' be good.

Major props to Kelly for his postgame interview after the Newman game. It fills me with pride to see the type of guys we have in our program and how they have grown within the program to become real leaders. If Kelly, Brown and the other seniors can keep this team focused, its going to be the special year we are all expecting.
