it's not like you have to be a scout to see how talented shj is (and hats off to henderson st. .. i hope they have a good season), but he's really tough. we'll need that aginst the cincinnati's and temple's of the world. i just can't wait until landry and markis are up to speed. landry at point with samajae as his backup (or on the floor together at times) is salty indeed.

The main difference (per SHJ) between JuCo and D1 is that in D1 you run a lot of plays. They only ran about 2 plays at Hutch last year. Other than that it was just guys creating for themselves.

I'm not as down on Asbjorn as some. He showed enough footwork to be able to get open time after time. Unfortunately, no one seemed capable of making an entry pass. He will show his value playing against AAC size, not MVC size (or smaller).
Samajae will be a valuable contributor no doubt. He's going to have to learn to pass against taller guards. He had several passes tipped that were recovered by himself or teammates.
Rod looks like a freshman that would have gotten 15/20 minutes a game 6 or 7 years ago.Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

SHJ is extremely quick and fast. A D-1 team like Drake would have picked him a half dozen times. Thor posted up a half dozen times, nobody bothered to get him the ball. If he gets the ball there like he's supposed to, he has a handful of one-step thunder dunks and folks would have said he was fantastic.

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Who knows how solid the shoulder is. I think he was a little slow due to the mono, the foot
and the layoff. It's one of the reasons I want to wait more on SMJ because he was working
against an impaired AR at the team scrimmage and little competition vs HSU. I was encouraged
that AR was able to play that many minutes considering all of his ailments. Hopefully he gets
close to full strength soon.
