  • 8-2 for the American. Not a terrible first day. I watched the first half of the Memphis-Alabama game and was pretty impressed with the Tigers. They brought in five JUCO players so it might take them a couple of months before they start to click.

        Arkansas State.

    • MVC goes 6-1 for the night. Where have you been guys.

Noted that Gregg mentioned the ISUB victory in his postgame. He always did like Lansing.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

      • UC-Riverside doubling up on Maui first round opponent Cal by a score of 34-17. Yikes.

It’s that confidence that comes from knowing they don’t have to play WSU twice.

I was only rooting for FGCU because they are a non-con opponent, I promise.

                    • If we play Notre Dame in Maui, I hope they play at least half as shitty as they look today against DePaul.

After a little research I found that Toccoa Falls is a DIII school. Prior to the App St. game they had lost to 3 NAIA schools by over 30 points per game.

WSU might score 200 on them.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

                            • FGCU really put a hurting on Illinois State. I *think* ISUr is really just that bad this year and not the other way around. :)

Hmm... I better edit this. I was looking at that NCAA page that had WSU on it last night and they added the two half scores wrong for ISU. I guess they only lost by 1 if you actually add the two halves together.
