8-2 for the American. Not a terrible first day. I watched the first half of the Memphis-Alabama game and was pretty impressed with the Tigers. They brought in five JUCO players so it might take them a couple of months before they start to click.

FGCU really put a hurting on Illinois State. I *think* ISUr is really just that bad this year and not the other way around. :)
Hmm... I better edit this. I was looking at that NCAA page that had WSU on it last night and they added the two half scores wrong for ISU. I guess they only lost by 1 if you actually add the two halves together.Comment
